Ongar Campaign 2023

Brentwood and Ongar Constituency covers seven wards as part of the Epping Forest District Council and all fifteen wards in Brentwood Borough Council.

These are the seven Epping Forest District Council wards surrounding Ongar:

There are also parish and town councils in this area – Labour is represented in two Ongar town council wards where councillors were elected unopposed.

Results May 2023

Labour came second in all four wards in the Epping Forest District. Tom Acornley, from a standing start in March made excellent progress in Shelley ward. Boundaries change next year, but the strong showing in Chipping Ongar, Greensted and Marden Ash and in Shelley suggest good prospects for next year’s all-up election.
